Methadone Detox difficulties?

I was discharged from a Behavioral Ward at the hospital for Methadone
Detox after one week.(I am not a heroin user-a failed back fusion)I was a 60 to 80 mg a day user for five years, the last three months I tapered down to 31 mg (very difficult) My last dose was eight days ago.I still feel like shit(diarrhea, anxiety, sneezing fits, insomnia and the typical knee-jerk reaction that effects all limbs at night when trying to sleep)The Doctors gave me Clonodine Patch,Depakote,Ambian & Robaxin to cope with the seeming unending horrible pains my body is racked by.So look….when can I expect to feel just a little better? I did the 7 day
detox, but it seem I’m entering another ugly phase of hell?

It gets worse before it gets better, sorry. Ask your doctor about subutex or suboxone.
Expect to feel like a truck ran you over for at least a couple weeks, find things to keep you physically and mentall occupied in the meantime. The first week is terrible but you will have that “hungry” feeling untill you die. There’s no end to opiate addiction it’s indefinate. Ask anyone in AA or NA, “recovery” is a lifelong process, and I **** to tell you but yeah, it’s white-knuckle every day.
sorry.
